Some of the gear that will be available at this years winter trip. the sailing club you see behind is right on the lagoon with lots of grass around it.
I'm happy to say we have 13 sailors coming this year which i am absolutely stoked about. can't wait for winter. The last 2 days on the island have been great sailing as well. Easterly 18-25K today and 25-35K yesterday. Both days out with a 5.7 loving it!
Are you getting paid by the Island Tourist Board coz you really make the place really attractive for a trip over there?
The sooner the Tourist Board steps up the better, but I suspect at the moment Lord Howe and Sam are batting alone to establish the island as a windsurfing destination. Check the fantastic value at the "hire shop". If you can organise the wind to blow this year like it did last year Tim, we'll nominate you for the seabreeze "services to windsurfing" award.
13 sailors! it'll be a hoot. I'm on that plane in the top photo already.
