Can anyone recommend a good Sydney board repairer? Being fussy I want a good strong repair but also want the cosmetics to be nice. My 100L blast has a healthy size but very fine crack across about 200mm of the nose, and my 130L blast has a small mast strike impression.
If you're on the Northern Beaches:
Andrew at Divola Boats in Manly Vale
Tim at Breakers ph 0404217761 (maybe a bit more pricey).
Both are good.
Is there anyone in the Mona Vale area? I also had a mast strike which put a hairline crack on the nose. Have managed to seal myself. Cosmetically doesn't look great (looks like a zinc on my nose!) Practically it works. Would be good to create a list of people who can fix boards in Sydney. More than happy to create a online Spreadsheet on google drive which people can edit and share with the seabreeze community.
Surfboard repairers do sailboards too. I use surfboard ding repairs local to me and their skills are excellent.
Ring a couple of well known shapers in your area and ask who they recommend for their boards.

Hi mate,
try Neil Wheeler on 0408209635. He's by far the best board repairer at very reasonable prices, located in Warriewood.
Good luck, Marty

I almost went with a well recommended surfboard repairer but when he admitted he had never herd of using a vacuum to do repairs or drying out a wet board I said "thanks mate ill be off!" Im perfectly capable of doing the repair myself and have the space vacuum pump reso glass etc etc but sadly no time!
