What's with the fin setup?
Mini Tuttle + FCS
Even more fins to cart around. Gonna love that if you bust two or more case you cant swap em.
At least the JP uses us box fins.
(Those of you with JP twinsers already have two fins for your JP quad)

Ejmack, you beat us to it!!

There is a really good explanation on the fin set up and the reason's why Starboard have decided to go with the mini-tuttle + FCS setup here:

http://www.quadwindsurfing.com/video02.php

Like the video says we will be well stocked with replacement fins so if you do lose one don't worry.

The Quads also come as a convertible Quad/Single fin set up. With the extra U.S box only weighing around 300 grams we see this as a great option as it provides the flexibility to further tune the board to suit conditions.

We are predominatly stocking the convertable option but if you do want the quad only version we are able to order them.

First shipment of the boards will arrive in Australia in about 2-3 weeks. If you want to order one to ensure you don't miss out, check out this link to find your local Starboard retailer. auswind.com/web/content/view/25/41/

I don't know why they use a full foil and not a half foil on the front fins like on surf boards.
Seeing as quads are supposed to be pretty much a split thruster.

^ less drag i believe,

surfboard fins on quads are usually 80/20 foils. tow in surfing thrusters the same.

i'm keen to see the outline.

also figure the board must be very thin looking at the dimensions of the bigger sizes.
