Can't go back to a seat harness (yes, I tried) not even a high hook one. I dislike leg straps, and the sensation of being hoisted.

Thing is, I prefer the harness to stay low. So anyone know if there are any shops in aus selling these?

I'd also consider the infamous Liberty one (yeah, the drake is a direct rip off of it) but they're quite closed shop (highly unlikely to find one in Aus). I figure maybe the Drake one might be available off shelf somewhere here (over East) as opposed to waiting for one to arrive international, which has proven hit and miss just of late.

anyone over there seen them hanging on a shop shelf anywhere? Goggling prove no help

BigWinds in the US has them and will mail to Australia. I just bought one USD$189, it's the red and blue version. They have them in medium and large. Mail to Australia would be approx USD$50. Drop them an email, bigwinds@bigwinds.com

I recently ordered one of the liberty harnesss. I'm pretty happy with it and the process was ok. It arrived quick as well.

They used a payment system called wise witch was a bit tricky to set up but they will let you use PayPal as well.

I posted the same question a few months ago and Remi from Starboard replied and was able to arrange one direct. Try contacting Starboard in Thailand. Bloody awesome harness. I had a serious back injury and my seat harness had nowhere near enough support. This has solved all the issues..

Another option is Amara Windsurfing Jomtien Thailand, just got one from them (I'm in TH at the moment) they might be able to ship if they still have stock
Yet to try it out - great to hear Martin that you approve! what size did you go?
I'm 95kg/185 and went M after reading forums ...

I would definitely try one on...the sizing is a bit weird....I am a medium at 90 + ( undisclosed amount) kilos

Ordered today from Surf FX. Would've been great to be able to try one on, but wasn't going to happen since none in wa. Will just have to rely on Starboards measurement chart, which tells me I need a medium at 92 cm on the waist. If it's a bit wrong, that at least provides a bit of adjustment either way and a bit of space for winter expansion. I'll do a review when I get to try it out (probably a couple of months time).

Have now used Drake for fin and foil - now 100% my go to harness on all gear, fantastic, best of all worlds
M is right size for me strangely, as I'm 185cm, 95kg and wide pelvis, hips 110 waist 100, and even then I have straps almost fully pulled in
could probably use S!! but not L
harnesses are definitely try before you buy if at all possible ....
