Got some pretty cruisy footage on Thursday arvo on Trial Bay. Thought I'd put it up as a bit of a video postcard of what to expect if your thinking of heading up this way over the holiday period. In the clip it's only 12-15 knots of nor-east, and high tide so there's basically no waves and the sand banks are underwater. However, low tide and 15-20 knots and she's game on! Enuff rambling

Got up there once in the 90's love to get back someday..looks great! I assume it would be good for someone who wanted to get back in the surf..not much shore break?

Looked like a great day for the slalom gear and big sails Phil. Would love a run there with the freestyle/wave gear in more wind and waves. Thanks for posting, looks nice in the sun with all that shallow, clear water

Hey sue, even when it's head high there's no shore break. Just launch closer to the gaol where it's dead flat.

Adam, was pretty cruisy for Trial Bay, and yeah would have hammered on punchy slalom gear. But more wind and waves sounds like a better deal :)

Slalom gear in a NEer is fun but can be tough at SWR. More suited to FSW - bump and jump for sure.

Look forward to more video's Phil and can't wait to get back there.

Cheers
Marty

This is slalom gear on a "flatter" day. Can be real big out off the point.

You and Damo still share the same taste in music Phil. Must be a Macleay Valley thing
