Howdy,
I've got a cobra factory built 2014 slalom in excellent condition, always looks after, washed and bagged etc.
It feels super grippy to touch dry but when wet, slippery as.
Any ideas on how to correct this horrible problem??

The cheapest/simplest option is to wax it as surfers do.
Also the booties help with the grip.

I have noticed the same with a few boards in last couple of years I wonder if they changed something...
Sometimes it can be sunscreen runoff if you did your feet and lower legs, if so a good scrub with detergent.

If it is that bad get it regripped it is simple and cheap

Please don't wax it, it will make it near on impossible to clean off it get anything to stick later. I'd charge double if regripping a board that had been waxed.

Funny thing is i have a 2015 board of the same brand that is fantastic??
And no, wax doesn't sound like the greatest idea out there.

Monster paint, do you have it down there?
It's a clear spray on grippy stuff for boards, works great and doesn't cover up any graphics.
