I think there are lots of bargains in Australia on 2015 gear as we go into winter and after a slow summer season
No need to go to new Caledonia.
Unfortunately I think all these bargains will help to reduce supply of windsurfing gear in the coming years and Australian windsurfers will end up having to pay more to get their gear and have far less choice. ![]()
i agree with you legless, and anyone that buys boards from a non Australian brand is a judas. not only should we buy from Local companies only, but only local companies that manufacture locally, from locally sourced materials.
And we should all pay them a little extra to help support them.

??? I think you might have to stop windsurfing. Last I checked the only"local" companies are Severne and KA but neither of them manufacture locally let alone with local materials. It not much better for custom boards. There are three companies from last count and most of the materials they use are imported.
All good guys !! I wasn't advertising for anyone (actually I don"t shop from those two outlets)
Being overseas I didn't think of the impact on the autralian market (and site sponsors so Mods feel free to delete the thread)
Sorry !
Just pointing out that if anyone is coming over to new cal soon there are bargains.
(couple of my mates are really pissed off here after buying the 2015 isonic last month at 2400 $.....)![]()
thanks for the red thumbs ![]()
greenies from me bra. See you in October

so you've never bought anything on ebay from OS?? All for parochialism, but it's not always practical or possible... and does buying secondhand gear support the local economy? idealism has it's flaws

everything I buy is 100% local.
don't you know that if you buy something from "not local" you cause things to become more expensive. just ask legless

I know... Legless already has my CC details :P
I buy severne because it's the best. It also makes me feel nice that he's Australian.
My four boards are from four different manufacturers.
