Son and I shared a windsurfer LT session today at a new spot. Water was as warm as urine

tomorrows forecast might see some short board action!

Great end of the year in WA, our son sailed in 25 knots for the first time today and after that dad and mum had a great time on the water. Tomorrow looks good to start the new year in style...

Plenty out on the water in Perth. Double session, foil on 4.1 and then fin on 4.7.
Happy New year!

Waited two weeks of continuous good forecasts that never happened. So first day for a while, on brand spanking new board, planing all the time and love the board - ecstatic

I worked in the servo, dreaming of sailing while selling what felt like 1 billion ice creams,1 million chocolates, chips and 2 million energy drinks, and obviously 1000's of ltrs of dinosaur soup for the cars to drive around and buy more sugar. Only windsurfers should be allowed to drive for sailing i think. That would solve the worlds problems. Hmpf. Hard not to get grouchy in tourist time in a holiday town.
Glad i got off sugar.
These sugar fiends would be too unfit to sail i think. But if they did sail they would want to get fit to sail more and better as i am now.
No work for 10 days now. C'mon Huey!

I'll comment at the end of the week. I don't want to jinx the forecast.

I got out for a gentle foiling session at Anglesea, VIC where I'm staying with relies. Before that, had three days solid 20kt SW ers for end of year fin action in onshore wave conditions. I have finally succeeded in growing a decent second quiver down here in Melbourne for my regular visits, life is good.

Headed to my local for first sesh of the new year.. 15-20 knots, no one out or even at the beach.
Unfortunately 2 days of floods has left a stench that cannot be considered safe. To quote my son "my nostrils are burning"

reluctantly got back in the car and drove home.
