Got the mach 5s the other day, and just discovered the 6.2 comes with rdm cams as standard. I don't own an rdm 430 mast.
So with racing on tomorrow, shops shut for the weekend and the strong possibility that 6.2 will be required, does anyone know if the sdm cams are a standard fitting? Can i pull the cams out of my old mach 1 6.2 (which fits on an apex mast) and stick them in the new one? Or do they tend to vary them year to year? I suspect i can, but figured id ask brains trust before i go burning an hour changing it all over and rigging it tomorrow, only to discover that actually i can't
Do you have a 400 rdm?
That will work fine in the M5 6.2 with a wave grenade / cyclops 36cm rdm extension (luff is 433)
The SDM cams from last years sail should fit, as far as I know, but I don't own any Mach 5s myself.
I.e. SDM cams for Apex masts should be fine.
Cams in my m1 are the same as my m4 if that helps and swapping between Sdm and rdm and should work
