Would the NCX rig and perform well on a Rd mast? And if so are they more suited to flex, standard or stiff top masts?

My favourite sail up till now is a 6.5 NCX. Have been using it on a cheap SDM and had no issues with it at all. Quite a performer for a non cam sail. I do remember someone telling me a while ago when I was babbling on about the sail that they had rigged it on a RDM without too many issues.
Not sure about the RDM, but my 5.5 ncx rigs on a NP X6 SDM...not a perfect match, but went pretty well today!
...Actually, I've gotta be totally honest...I used it on a X3 base (430) with a X6 top (460) with a shim made of an empty silicone tube, cut to length, sliced down the side and slid between the connection to pack it out!
30-40kt winds! Desperate times call for desperate measures!
Have got 2010 6.5 & 7.5 pro edition ncx's ordered...will post comments about performance when they are here.....till then i'll just have to keep looking at the pictures and try to stop drooling....best looking sail i've seen for a long time...!
The do look nice IMO Kev, the Pro's especially. Interested to hear how you find them!
However, I probably won't be getting one as from what I am hearing they don't really suit my Ezzy rdm's.
I bought a powerex free 80 sdm especially..allthough i have read a few things that say the ncx's arent that mast specific....might be wrong though
??? anyone any other ideas....???
