Hey guys,
I'm a newbie in this forum as well as in windsurfing (5 hours of surfing yet). I've got some old equipment from my brother and I want to try it out, and everything seems fine, but there is one problem I've found no answer yet.. It is the f2 vega with 134L and a f2 baseplate. But this plate has its screw which goes into the board NOT in the middle, the hole for the rig however is in the middle. When I'm fixing the base by turning as much as I can, the hole is no more over the centerline of the board, turning the base back a little, so the hole is in the centerline, let the base slide up and down the rail.
Hopefully somebody knows what to do I feel dumb asking this though.

Don't worry about it not being in the center.

Yes close enough to centre is good enough. You need it to be firm so it doesn't move around when sailing
