Anyone used the select S1 pro fins? Any good?

Good shapes, and nicely fast. I've always liked the Select S1 feel but construction has given me problems over the years with fins breaking out of the heads. I use the powerbox models but I don't know how relevant that is.

+1 S1Pro has made most of my boards behave nicely. Use 51-41cm in PB n Tuttle. Worth the $. Even for an average sailor like me theyre easy to use n slippery.

I have several Select S1 pro carbon fins for my Severne Fox 105 and an iSonic 72.
On the Fox, the S1 pro 35cm definitely performs much better than the stock G10 fin (better control and speed, easier planing, no spin outs).
On the iSonic 7, I have a 37,cm Z-fin to compare, as well as a 39cm and a 41cm S1 pro. While I have frequently spin-outs with the Z-fin, I never had spin-outs with the S1 pro (but then they are longer too).

Overall, I am happy with the S1 pros. While they might not give a pro racer the last bit of speed, I consider them as solid allrounders.
And good thing is, they are available in all sizes and different heads, with fast shipment worldwide, at a very competitive price.
I just ordered a 33cm fin from their website on Sunday, and it was sent out already to the US.

Not sure what your expectations are, as well as your skill level. But personally, I definitely recommend to buy and try one.

best,

+3 on the select S1
Its the fin that I use to compare other fins .
Value worth trying . Go the bigger size .
Medium speed , a lot of nice predictable lift that is fun and makes your board feel great , and is cheap . What makes them good is when they slowly let go and easy to pull back . User friendly that makes you want to push them . A great pointer to replace that freeride fin .

I use a 55 n 9.5 on an old AHD 270x77.
Gets it going in 10-12kt. Im 110kg.
Can feel the difference in flex between S1 n S1 Pro models. S1 feels stiffer.
As Imax sez great control 'IF' n when it starts to let go. Can always get it back under control before the 'Oh S#it' moment.
