Where does Seabreeze get its weather data from? I always assumed it was BOM, but a few times I've checked both and the forecasts differ. I'm doing Rotto solo in 10 days so am keen to get accurate weather reports. For tuesday 22, Bom and other weather sites such as Willyweather have the forecast as hot 35 with strong Easterlies swinging round to a SW mid morning. Pretty common pattern. Seabreeze, however, has a similar temp, but strong SW that blow all through the night on the Monday and through Tuesday morning, picking up during the day. Very different to BOM. I can't say I've seen many days with SWs blowing in the morning that have neem hot.

I thought I read they pull the data from Bom but could be wrong. I use combination of PredictWind and seabreeze.

direct from the support area of sea breeze.
The weather often chooses it's own path of action, and we're in a constant state of trying to keep up with it and create forecasts that are accurate and reliable. To do it, we use over 6 different sources of data, apply our own proprietory local area algorithms, a human touch, and the results are the graphs you see. We built the systems years ago, but the code was lost in an unfortunate office accident late one evening during a christmas party windup involving an employee, a gold fish bowl and a set of golf clubs. The code was lost and the employee now has a limp. :-)
