Dear Friends

All windsurfers (and families) who frequent the Scarborough area, are invited to the Inaugural BBQ of the Scarborough Kiters (WAKSA Beach User Group).

WHERE/WHEN: Brighton grassy area BBQs, by playground. Sat 5 Feb 2011, starting around 430pm or when you finish your sail!

DRESS: The theme will be 'Civilized' with Ties compulsory (but nothing else).
Go for a sail at Brighton, pop on your Tie after and get together for some good company, drinks and nosh!

OPPORTUNITY: Also to be invited are representatives from the local Surf Lifesaving Clubs, Stirling and Cambridge Councils and other beach users. This free event will allow informal comment and a chance to meet.

Scarborough Kiters (WAKSA) vision is of safe kiting at Scarborough Beach, in harmony with all beach users.

Sausage sizzele, salads, soft drinks, ice and the nearly-famous Shan's Punch will also be available, kindly supported by WAKSA (Western Australian Kitesurfing Association).

RSVP: for catering purposes by Tuesday 1 Feb to the Scarborough Kiters PM at ScarbKiters on Seabreeze.com.au.

Hope to see you there!!

Cheers Rad Lad!

Incidentally, even if Scarb area windsurfers can't make it for the BBQ, please feel free to PM us if you would like to raise any issues, now or in the future, regarding kiters in the area.

For any comment outside the Scarb area, feel free to email WAKSA or PM them on this forum.

Good winds!

Ta people for the green thumbs.

Please let me know by Tues if anyone's coming so we can cater correctly. Looks like it'll be windy, sunny and not a cyclone in sight at this stage!!

Guys! No probs, just come round and see if we're still there and there'll be a welcome on the mat and hopefully a sausage left on the barbie!

Now you know how to PM the group too if you need to communicate about anything. Happy to chat also.

See you down the beach. Good winds!
