I'd love some locals advice please.
I've been given a ticket of leave for the weekend (??) and I want to try sailing somewhere new. BoM says winds are going to be S/SE 15-20 knots tending Easterly 20-25. Should I head East to Sandy Point/Inverloch way (I've heard it can be great!) Or should I head West to Torquay?
I'm on Freeride gear too, if thats a factor for the decision.
Any advice?
Cheers!

No, not at the inlet for flat water and chop jumping. Usually, you can park almost at waters edge.

For surf sailing, you have to carry your gear over the sand dunes on the track from the car park. About 150 meters.

Low tide Sunday is just before dark at Inlet. High tide at about 1pm. From the charts and todays observation, it does not look like it will be a very high tide, so it should be good sailing and some flat water from about 2-3pm onwards.

Tides for the surf beach are 1.5hrs earlier.

If you come, bring smallish sails!
