On holidays in Yeppon for the next four day and Wednesday is looking good for a sail.
SSE wind, can anyone give me some tips on the best spot to sail from?
Thanks, Garry

Front of the sailing Club at Anzac Parade - nice grass area to rig and then just walk the gear down the boat ramp onto beach. Pretty safe in a SE too. Hopefully get out myself although could be difficult Wednesday arvo.

Edit - just had a look at forecast and those southerlies are forecast mainly at night. Don't like your chances although it may change. Main Beach a bit sheltered if wind due South as opposed to E / SE.

Todd av lines up a little better on the S winds. I personally don't think the wind will build, don't get your hopes up

Sausage is your man for info.

I have sailed out at the keppels and very good snorkeling. You can hire a boat. We did that and slept on the boat. One of the best holidays we have had.
