Cripes! You'd need 2 sets of arms.. Imagine the drag from one of those old heavy boards with that amount of sail up..

30m! Agreed, LeeD would have had a ketch rig somehow linked with another 20m of sail. Part of the rich tapestry.

The mast has negative bend in it too.......

I think that was the day that Gary Gibson tried to use a 13m sail on a 260 sinker. There wasn't enough wind to water start so they held him from above on a bridge and then let him go, don't think he made it too far.
