Hi everyone,

I need to stitch a 30cm length of sail where the panel meets the edging, panel is still in place but thread has come undone, looks like an easy job.

What's the best thread to use, do I need to buy something specialist or can I get away with just using dental floss, doesn't need to look too fancy, sail is pretty old but I'm hoping to get another couple of years out of it, any advice appreciated thanks all.

If you get a sewing awl kit from Harbor Tools and Freight it comes with some heavy duty multi strand thread. Dental floss could wear from movement.
