About to replace my old 5.0 wave sail. Current range is4.1, 5.0 and a 05 Sailworks Rev 5.8m
My problem is that I can't decide whether to stick with the 5 or go a 4.6 and 5.2. But don't know if I'd get the use out of two sails where one seemed to suffice for so long.
Is 5 to 5.8 too big a gap?
I sail reef breaks on the MSW Central coast where we don't really get much wind outside of Oct to Dec.
Any Thoughts?

I think 5.0 to 5.8 is too much of a gap.

I would go for a 5.3 and 4.7.

That way you have 4.1, 4.7, 5.3 and 5.8.

The alternative would be 4.1, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0

hey mate, seams you live on the coast, i would suggest 5.2m to go with your 5.8m, sailworks Revo's have a fair bit of grunt so this combo should work well, i have had this combo before the gap is prob as much as you want to go.
the most common range for around our area, newcastle central coast is roughly (depending on brands and there sizes) 4.6m 5.2m and 5.8m .6m gap is pretty good.. your 4.1m may be a big gap to a 5.2m but this time of year is either 5.2m weather or smokin 4.0m to 4.5m so you should be o.k

For years I ran 5.4 to 4.7 with no issue.

since moving up north have gone 5.0 to 5.7 and find that gap is working well.
