rsx is the international and Olympic race board class and main/only way windsurfing gets any exposure in some countries.
Also provides an avenue for bored dinghy sailers to get into our sport (like how windsurfing started).

when it was announced as the new Olympic board I was hoping it would kill off the formula rubbish and help reinvigorate racing and windsurfing.
unfortunately in Australia the opposite has happened and our country can't even manage a male rsx rep at major regattas. Shame when many other countries sail it in big numbers.

unfortunately with our interest in the latest, fastest gear we have sacrificed what made the sport fun and accessible in the first place - racing on a board that is useable in all conditions, on an even platform and can be learnt on.

There will be 7 as I assume they will race you with the girls... cannot believe there is more girls than guys?

Maybe you should enter the Kites ...

I'd rather get a sex change and enter in the women category than doing that

Would be good to have someone to race against! Hopefully some more internationals will enter... There actually isn't anyone else in Australia racing RSX at the moment...

Actually I did (kitesurfing, just to make sure we are talking about the same thing). Not the foil version though...
