Gurus
Bought a 2nd hand fanatic allwave SUP which seems to have a mast foot attachment. Interested in utilising this function. Can anyone tell newby what I need to try it out? I'm 6ft 1 and 95kgs and won't go out in anything above 10-15 knots (would that be safe?). I read that a sail under 6 metres would be best. So I need the mast foot attachment, mast, sail and boom?
Cheers Rob

I windsup my 10'5" Starboard Glide in small waves when wind is below 15 knots. Im 85kgs so I usually use a 5.7m2 Gator wavesail rig. Great fun.

I use a Sealion for this. Great fun.Try to use the smallest sail you can get away with for better handling.
I use a 4.9 Ezzy Taka or a 5.7 Severne Blade @ 90 kg

On-shore is not good, but in any other conditions it works very well.

Check what size thread the mast foot needs as my daughters fanatic SUP uses a 6mm thread.

You will need a complete mast foot, a 5m to 6.2m sail but nearer 5m will be easier to lift out of the water, a mast of the right length, this will be on the sail specs and a boom of the right length. Buy the sail first and then buy what you need for that sail afterwards as you could end up with a mast thats too long etc.
