Those little secondary blades are called flybar-paddles.. what actually happens is that the pilot flies the flybar, and the little blades fly the big blades. Apparently if the pilot was put in charge of the big blades directly these little helis would be way too responsive and twitchy for a human to be capable of flying out of a hover. Just in case anyone thought it was easy at the moment!
Ever driven an RC car towards yourself, and inadvertently turned the wrong way? That's only 2 dimensions.. now try doing it with 4! (aileron, elevator, pitch/throttle, and rudder)
Is that a T-rex?
Bought a night ranger 3d, should of started with a counter rotating type. Started practicing on the realflight 3.5 sim and liked the winged counterparts, now I have a katana mini, cmpro discus and monton, slinger and wild wing.

The small rotors are the aileron / elevator.
i been practicing with FMS the last couple o days or so
I found a utility that lets you use the radio transmitter's buddy box output via the soundcard's mic input. The utility interprets the ppm signal and then i need to run the PPjoy util to create a virtual joystick input. Tedious but it works a treat ![]()

hmmmmmmmm, you'v got a lot to learn about kiteing! The 1st one is way to small, it will never get you on the plane. And the 2nd, allthough well constructed, maybe just a tad heavy but will probably float
.I'm sure there's plenty of people that could help on design, hey, you could ask the Romans
. Happy easter.
