Just picked up an '05 S-Type 104 which needs a little bit of work to get it back on the water (thank you Busterwa). The board is pretty solid but is suffering from UV exposure. I thought I'd post a few pics of the process.
First 3 are of the board when it arrived and the last one where I'm at after a few hours working on removing the broken down layer of glass and the footpads.

That's a sad looking board at the moment, Terry, but well worth the restoration effort.

The Stype 104 was one of my most favourite boards. Until I sailed a 2013 carve 111.

Good to hear positive comments about the S-Type. It confirms the decision to put in the effort. A few hours tonight to remove the rear pads and some of the graphic stickers. Plan is to get it back to a mainly white/woodgrain board.

Early days yet but already have the next project lined up. A Carve 111 with a couple of impact spots on the deck to fix. Also needs a previous regrip sanded off and redone
