Living in Oregon, I must say we have one of the best conditions for windsurfing with oceans, lakes and rivers in the country. I am glad I have the opportunity to live here in Oregon, plus there is no sales tax. Makes buying gear much more affordable.
No tax .your twice as lucky . 
i reckon windsurfing gear should be exempt .we would have more ,gear
lucky we have the breeze for good second hand gear ...
I just need to stop buying so much ,the sheds getting full .

i know a guy ,who was my school teacher 80 years old ,just having to give it up now ,
due to having a stroke .sad time for him ,he has to sell all his gear.
