Hi,
I recently bought a Dethleffs Ford Globevan.
The manufacturer sells a roof rack on the pop up roof kit that can be mounted on the pop up roof. To do that I have to drill and mount 2 rails first. The roof rack that I got is a Thule and when I contacted Thule they said they do not guarantee that a roof rack can be mounted on a van with a pop up roof at all. Has anyone done it? Someone how did this on California/Campster or other small van?
The material is glassfiber/plast I think.
Dethleffs says that can driva max 130km/h and max 50kg weight on the roof rack.
I will attach some pictures of the kit I got, of the car.
Thanks in advance

Hi Ventomax,
looks good. Have you already installed it? I am prepping my roof rack to paint it black. Our pop-up roof is black as well.
Is there a question, you want to be answered?
Best regards, David
Make sure you bed it down with something like sika flex 295 to seal it and take out the vibration and shock loades transferring to the fibreglass.
I have Thule racks on a California with a pop up. Just have to look at the weight rating if you are going to pop the roof up. On the California I think this is 50kg.
