So what were the air and water temperatures? They must have been incredibly low, by Oz standards.
In august, it was arround 18-28 C, in september 15-20 C. We could not say we had bad temperature. It was confortable, nothing too hot but not cold also. The water was also good, barefoot or 2mm booties.
Compare with Naxos, Greece. It's not as warm for sure but really confortable to ride the day and to sleep in a van at night! : )
And yes it's a lot more fun with friends! : )
