Firstly, I would like give from Oz our condolences to Marilyn and her family, also to the New Cal Freerace family and all sports as well.
Today I got the sad news that Mimi had passed away.
A legend a gentlemen who never had a bad word to say about anyone, he had a heart of Gold.
The holiday that was had some years ago with Mate's in New Cal, for Mimi to stop, yep stop sailing in the middle of shipping channel, and help assist in a rescue.
Then for him to say, to two of us " Go I will be OK, see you both on the beach".
To this day I keep showing pics of Mimi and that rescue. The pic and the stroy are completely different!
Mimi, may the wind be a constant breeze for you where ever you maybe, rest in peace
