Hi Everyone,

A couple of Newbie questions.

I have a TC Runner with a Dagger fin, the rubber on the bottom of the fin box is gone, can you replace this and if so where?

Also can you change the style of box where the mast extension meets the board. Currently it is TC Cate contention.

I have a John Haine Board and Bombora sails with a quick conection on and off. I want to use this sail , mast and mast extension on the TC Runner.

Can anyone help with this? I live in the Newcastle / Central Coast Area

regarding the conection to the board your pretty much stuck with that, what I did ( many years ago) I converted the flexible part to a standard universal rubber joint with a euro pin,The original rubber is usually perished and having the mast extension connected to the base fitting makes rigging very difficult.

I'm not sure I'd worry about the strip of rubber around the fin.

I repaired the gasket on an old Hi fly wirh some rubber strips that I bought from Clark rubber, araldite, couple of stainless self tappers on the leading edge, and a bit of silicon sealant. Worked fine and stopped the fountain of water sprayiing up the centre slot. I keep the board down in vic at my dads place and still go for a blast on the bay when im down. The rubber is still holding.

I fixed a euro pin base to one of the original windsurfers with four roofing screws straight through the board. Lasted 3 years. It was one of those i" it's fixed or its ducked " things as not worth spending any money in.
