Hi!

As with sailboats you can reduce sail size just plying it (I ignore the English wording for it) I ask: is there any way of doing something similar with an old sail? I have a HiFly sail that's 5,9m and as I don't use it, I'd like to set it up for my kids. I'd aim to make it 4m big.

Is this possible, even "ruining" the normal original size and shape? The mast it should use is 4,75m and it's massive for a kid. I'd like to use my 4m long one maximum, had you done something like this? Where should I cut or stich? Thanks!

It'll be easier and cheaper to get a different sail. Otherwise, it's possible but may not be usable when their level improves.

A sail with good twist makes it much more comfortable than a bagged out hacked out sail :)
