So I have to fix my broken board (one of many right now) and I have had to destroy some of the double density footpad area. I need to rebuild this somehow. I need about a 10mm thickness before laying down the top pad. Was looking at Hydroturf and they make a product called "Underpad" (apparently not an incontinence thing) www.hydroturf.com/product/underpad-plush-18mm-11-16-17-5-x-48/

To me this looks like the ideal thing. You can get it here in Australia from http://www.ajsp.com.au/hydroturf

Does anyone have any experience with this material?

So u have a scalloped out area under the heel?
That had a black rubber muck in it before "normal" pads covered the whole area?

If so, I'd just fill with normal cheap EVA like yoga mat, that is a bit softer than our EVA pads are

I got some of that material from Windsurf'nsnow in Sydney. The good thing is that it is self sticking, you don't need contact glue.

Thanks Mark. It has turned out that I already had a piece of that eva floor mat kicking around in the shed. I didn't even think about it until now. Now I am good to go!
