Smashed this NP boom at Sandy Point last week and I've finally put it to a good use - growing beans and cucumbers.

Must have been a hell of an impact to break an X6 Did you look at it the wrong way?

Dat be more corn amigo.

I was accelerating from 30-40knots while bearing off, the wind increased suddenly from 20knots to 30+ and I was in "cruise" mode. The result: disaster. I came up with one boom arm in my right hand, clean break. My rig was heading into the channel. Whiplashed neck and ribs and a few visits to the physio but I'm OK!

Hey Kato, I must admit I did have chuckle when the boom found a new home though..but missing a good sail after driving four hours - that wasn't so good!
