Hi rrdsailor

I had a meeting at the club this morning and RQYS confirmed that camping within the club grounds is welcome, within the grounds they have full bathroom and laundry facilities, multiple BBQ's plus a bar and cafe/restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner.

This link works

www.rqys.com.au/marine-sports-amenity-building-now-operating/

just scroll down until you see the online entry for the Raceboards.

If you don't have a YA or IWA number just type NA or something in, so long as the field has something in it the entry will go through.

Thought I would give this a bump again.

Just over a month to go, the waters warm, the location is fantastic for sailing, both camping and motel accomodation is available onsite. The venue has sit down and take away food a fully stocked bar secure area to leave gear overnight.and plenty of parking within the grounds.

Within a short walking distance is the Manly Village that has multiple cafes restaurants and hotels.

Promises to be a great regatta.

Merry Christmas hope to see you up here in a month.

What's happening with the world championship proposal? Is it happening and if so, when?

Cheers

Yes we have formed a national organising committee and are currently putting together costs and looking at different options for charter equipment, freighting gear to and from Europe etc etc.

We aim to have something substantial to present at the Nationals and a full proposal before the next International Class Association AGM in order to secure the event for November 2016.

The official thread for the 2015 Raceboard Oceanics has been posted by WQ in the Queensland section.

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/Queensland/RACEBOARD-AUSTRALIAN-AND-OCEANIC-CHAMPIONSHIPS/

There has been some amendments made to the original NOR and these have been mentioned in the thread.

It would be good to continue discussions for the proposed Raceboard Worlds on this thread though...
