There are 2 days of competition to go. Great fun with 70 men and 10 women racing on the Baltc Sea. The weather has warmed up a bit and the sea temperature rocketed up to 13.3. Check out the results and gallery from links at www.raceboard.org
Had an Australian quiz night last night, many are keen to come to Brisbane for the next worlds in November 2016.

It's all over now. POL7 Maks Wojcik took out the men's competition sailing very consistently at the front of the fleet. Maks will be spending time in Brisbane with the Australian Sailing Team RSX and Techno programmes. I managed 16th, my best result yet. Great racing, starting with 70 boards on the line is a challenge that still needs to be improved upon. In the top 10, 8 of the 14 countries represented in the event were present, showing the spread of talent around the world.

LAT18 won the women's competition - Ilona Grinberga also sailed very consistently at the front of the fleet. Lissa AUS443 finished 8th.

Awesome! Just looked at the photos, some great stuff! Be curious to see what gear was used, from the photo's looks like a Phantom one design event!

Well done Richie. 16th that's epic. Great effort by Lissa too. Well done to Max for winning another world Raceboard championships.

While the Phantom was the most common board, there were a few others on the water. Pedro in fifth had the new Exocet as did a few others in the fleet, Petr in 7th was on an older Phantom 380 and Fabian in 9th may have had an older board such as a Mistral Pan Am? Throughout the fleet there was a sprinkling of older boards showing it has a lot to do with the person on the board!

In the top 10 there were a variety of sails. Demon, Aerolite, Severne, Tushingham, Loft, Lefebvre. Quite a range. Max used a Demon.
