Hello windsurfers. I'm looking to try a boge uni in my RS One board which currently has a a tendon uni.
The boge I have has mistral bottom pin which is about 24mm deep, whereas the RS is only 21mm deep and the board track will not take any longer than 21mm.
So, any wise people know how to get the pin out of the tendon uni, looks like a special tool required maybe, and weather it will be a thread in there I can fit into boge..?

The male thread inside the adapter is drilled and then flared so the nut cant come of.
The only way around it is to use a larger drill and remove the flaring.
Good luck

Ok, thanks. Doesn't sound like it's worth mutilating the base to try and get the pin out, guess i better just keep that setup and use as a tendon.
I'll try to find if a replacement RS 8mm male thread pin is available out there anywhere..
make a 3mm thick washer to go on the bottom of the base = 21mm long pin???
Yes, i see what you are thinking, but my explanation didn't tell the whole story. Story is, the slot on the mistral pin is in the same place as the RS, but the very bottom part below the slot on the Mistral has more meat on it, making it a little longer below the slot, and that extra length will not let it sit down inside the mast track car and the car is just deep enough to fit the RS pin.

Grind 3mm off the bottom of the pin
Now I look closely, the slot is wider in the Mistral pin as well so that might be a factor.
Any good lathe operator could make you a replacement pin of either type.
But I recon I would be drilling the old one and screwing it out. Done carefully, it should not damage anything.
Is this what you are looking for?
It's a little bit battered but still functional, I think it came with a Tiga board I had many years go.
It's yours if you want it.

Yes that would work.
Is this what you are looking for?
Yes! I'll PM you to check location etc..
cheers!
