Hi Guys. I'm going to be travelling in from UK to Perth in mid November - and need to store waveboard & sails etc. for 4-5 days whilst doing side trip to Melbourne. I don't believe Perth International /Domestic Terminal stores gear - any ideas please - Airport hotel or other thoughts for storage for short time ?
I have friends in Warwick -but want to avoid taking taxi to drop gear off and then back to airport.

Storage king Perth airport, you can take the trolley from there about 10 minute walk. I think they do a month minimum, so maybe 100 bucks. If your at the domestic terminal, take a shuttle if your at the international

I think Storage King is on the T3/T4 ie Qantas side of the Airport. If you arrive on any other airline that would be a bit of a hike. Would probably be cheaper to give your friend a couple of cases of beer and get them to come down and pick up your gear from the airport.

There is a storage place for oversized luggage in Terminal 1 and T4. Don't know their phone numbers but you can email them. Email address here: www.perthairport.com.au/at-the-airport/shop-and-eat/shop/Baggage-Services-by-smarte-carte

I have used oversized luggage storage in Sydney before and they charged $60 per item per 24 hours.

If you are flying from the UK to Perth on Qantas it is highly likely your luggage will go via Melbourne anyway.

Then back to London, on to Kuala Lumpur, then Christchurch via Usbekistan before finally arriving in Perth five days after you.

Coincidently, five days is also the amount of time you will be on phone hold in the Qantas help-line queue for lost luggage.
