if I sand back my board just enough to get rid of the paint/graphics will I have to cover it with something or can I just leave it bare?
It could suck in water .
If it sucks, in water - that kind of limits its utility ![]()
Very unlikely it will suck water, pinholes don't really go anywhere and have been filled prior to paint
I still would not do it though, as it will be prone to UV damage anywhere there is black resin or carbon, plus you may rise fibres if sanding too deep (at least try tons of stripper or acetone first) and a basic paint will always offer some sort of protection
If its paint, and not some sticky material stuff, I see no reason it would cause a problem.
If its the top of the board then you of course will need to apply anti skid of sorts.
Why?
been told it helps not falling off ![]()

put some more on.... grip on the grip LOL
So to sum up, sand of paint, don't really need to re paint but it wouldn't be a bad idea, re grip and jobs done
