I have an older Windsurfing Hawaii boom, the boom end has one pully and the cleat. I would like to add an adjustable outhaul system, one that uses two pulleys on the boom end. I'm curious if anyone has successfully hacked an old boom to add a second pulley, and has pictures to share?
My probably newer Windsurfing Hawaii boom has three pulleys, so maybe the plastic end piece that holds the pulleys can be replaced? That, or get a replacement tail assembly that fits and has three pulleys. Maybe someone who has a broken arm on a tail assembly with three pulleys would sell it to you.
