Mate of mine just sent me this pic of South Easter blowing in Cape Town yesterday.....Trade wind that blows during the summer months there. Wind driven spray covering the sea. Only for the brave (or stupid)

I reckon that happened to me in Merrimbula 85 or 86, can't remember the year of the big storm.

Should be the usual mess @ Sylt, full flat onshore, just look how close the beach is, at least you don't need to swim to the shore when you fall, the wave will hammer you directly on the beach.
