What's the wind like in New Caledonia in Oct/Nov? Aircalin running a special for $1005 for 7 days from Melb. Anyone have any ideas about the wind - aiming to take a rig with 2 sails, hire a board there?
forget it, crappy place : always sunny and windy in october, packed with friendly windsurfers, grass rigging area, eyecandy locals. 
bring a 7.0 and 7.8 + 115 board and you'll be fine all week.
