And if I ever win lotto, or find a spare 5k, thats the first place I am heading

Brisbane /Noumea: 1472 km.
I reckon with 30 000 km under your feet, you should be able to make that distance

rocks

there was a long distance race today, Noumea to that tiny island (Goeland) and back. Won by the guy on the clip, NC5.
our legend Robert Teritehau was there too, but crashed badly and couldn't recover quick enough to challenge Fred Morin.

I might pm you soon for advice seanhogan. I'm trying to find an accommodation for my parents and I late November/early December but I can't make my mind and my friends over there have just no idea (like I would have no idea if someone was asking me about here...).

Hi Izaak,

2014 event calendar hasn't been released yet, most comps before and after "winter" ;-)

this is the official website :www.ang.nc/index.php?option=com_content&view=featured&Itemid=53

the bluescope is one of the biggest event but it's a long distance, the ANG grand prix is the biggest slalom event, with pros coming over.

There is talk of a PWA slalom event in 2014, but yet to be confirmed

Word is A2 and smx 421 are coming back for a european winter break this summer.

if only !! ;-) my girlfriend already has a reconversion plan for me, wants me to buy a large house on Anse Vata and run a B&B+w/surf gear rental.....

when I asked her what she would do in the business (me being the tour operator/driver/cook/gear manager) she replied "I'll be on the beach..."
