Hello,
Last week the cam over the boom on my Neilpryde Evo broke (ultralight b), im looking for a replacement but can't find them anywhere. Im based in the US but can't find them not even in Europe. Have any of you guys replaced the NP system for a standard cam like the ones on all other sails. My local dealer has a couple of the smaller ones used in the v8 sails but the system is totally different not sure if I can just take out the ultralight base and install a regular base that would fit a classic cam

Review carefully to make sure you get the right product. Good luck.

Chris I'm up in the Gorge and have loads of NP EVO cams. Have sent you a PM, let me know what size you need. I have adapted all my cams to RDM masts and 3d print the front bridge pieces in nylon.

I use RDM on my 7.0, 6.4, 5.6 and 5.2 EVO9. They are sweet, very comfortable and balanced. Robert Stroj, the NP designer, helped me out to spec the right cams for each position in the sail. I use the same cam arms but just print up RDM front bridges for each one. I also play around with the RDM mast sections to tune in the feel and performance. The 6.4 uses a 430 base section with a 400 top. The 5.6 goes on a 400 base with a 430 top. The 7.0 uses a No Limitz Sumo 460 RDM base with a Naish 430 RDm top. Pretty hard to find anyone faster than me on American waters so they seem to work!

That's crazy! It's great to see all the combinations to get the best out of the sails.

Hi guys! First post here, although avid reader for years and my favourite WS forum!

Roo: I have a Evo4 5.8 and Evo9 7.0 coming that I want to rig on my RDMs. Would be nice if you could share STL files for those cam bridges you use, but understand if you don't.

Depending on the year 5.8 rigs on RDM mast;

choco: Its a 2012 Evo4 and is spec on SDM. I currently use Arrows Ultimate Wave 400 SDM (slightly thinner than usual), which is flextop and fits quite nice, although havent tried with original mast to compare with.

Roo: I live in Norway
