Just had a mast exchanged after a little break, 4mths old.
NO problems, no dramas - so congrats to NP. A few years back, neilprydesux.com was running with tales of woe, nothing like that now. Very very happy so credit where it is due.![]()
TBH their warranty has always been very good I never had and issue.
Make of it what you will but I had to warranty 4 things over the space of 3 years or so, all for either failure due to poor design or failure due to poor manufacture, have never warrantied any other piece of windsurfing gear. Case in point it was about that time I stopped buying Pryde. Have never owned their sails either.
I remember when prydes had major issues with x6 masts breakages l think they produce a bad batch back in 2009 or 10 by memory l broke two in one season they always honoured me with the newer batch with a replacement mast Neil pryde have always stand by their warranties.![]()
Don't get me wrong, I lament their repeated breakages of X3 booms for example - obvious poor design. I used to hate the sails' longevity but that is way better now. This is my first warranty return (mostly cos I only use their sails n masts lol
shoodbegood, I had a flat landing with big shock, bottom of mast split and extension forced up inside. I was truthful, and they honoured warranty. It was an FX100 RDM (top of the line wave mast so you don't really expect to hear "no jumping no shorebreak" sh!t that some manufacturers try to spin, and I did't hear any of that.

Never had an issue with NP warranty, I've had 1 board, 2 booms and 3 sails covered under warranty....No Question. Replaced with brand new, New season stuff too.
Thanks to Wind, Surf & Snow and Wetspot Watersports for their diligence through the claims process. You don't like to see sh!t fail but if it does.....Action is what you want, And that's what I've had every time. ![]()
Never an issue with WS&S & NP gear warranties. Always sorted with expedient efficiency in the interest of getting u back on the water ASAP. Love the gear![]()
