Im sure I saw a bloke with a 3 piece mast fold the sail up &put mast into what looked like a boom bags .
Boom went in as well .
I think it was a loft but i can't be sure.
Can anybody tell me about rigs that stow down small .
Thanks

I'm loving the inflatable boards and compact rigs. There's an underlying message that it's not about getting excited 'cause this year's mast is .005% stiffer than last year's and this year's third batten is better. The message is that it's about getting out there, enjoying this beautiful sport on whatever gets you out there easily. It's about not obsessing about the performance of your gear, but about sailing and the
performance of the sailor.

PS - something about the bottom vid gives a hint that Cesare hasn't changed over the years. Great guy, loads of fun to hang with.

Are these Duo rigs and boards available in Australia? I'm interested as I can't go windsurfing now due to not having an appropriate vehicle, a van, to store and transport my gear. I have nowhere to store windsurfing gear at home. If a full set up could be moved in a couple of bags a small car could be used.

A setup like this would be much cheaper than buying & keeping a van on the road.

I'm liking the look of the RRD freeride and 7.0m combo. Any pricing availability in Aus?
We're looking at motorhome vs caravan for future holidays (preference being motorhome) and a compact design looks good for lighter wind freeride.

funny thing about that video, the first images (walking and driving) are not with the same woman( the rider), they used Robert Teritehau's wife for the leg/hand shots....
She is stunning but doesn't windsurf
Though I think the rider is also very "watchable" !!

Cesare Cantigalli - is he the inventor of the cantigalli roll? : yes indeed

Sure is.... we watched him pull the "cheese roll" at the Gunston at Big Bay in Cape Town. 1986 I think?

Here is his account.....
