Hi Guys,

I have a Mistral Superlight 2, and have managed to loose the dagger board (super devastating)

I know it's a very very long shot, but does anyone have an old daggerboard for a Superlight 2/Equipe 2 they would part with?

I know a Mistral One Design dagger board, sort of fits, so that's another option if anyone has a spare One Design dagger board.
Thanks for any help,

Matt

Put a post on the old school mistral owners club on FB, never know your luck. I got some spares for mine from a Guy in the UK

If you do not find exactly the original CB for SL2, you may consider other older Mistral CBs.
The most precious one were the carbon (black) ones original to SL2, like on my picture, due to their outstanding performance.
The other ones (white) are from My Mistral SL1s (stock & Racing one), Mistral Competition TCS. Late 1980s
Major difference is the pivot ring on SL2 is wider in diameter but you could add a ring around one from 1980s.
Another difference: From 1980s CBs had those spring loaded pressure buttons (in different colors and different loads).

In the USA, in recent years, only WindpowerWindsurfing had some remanufactured parts for old Mistral Boards. Also a lot of Mistral old used boards and used parts. To my knowledge, they used to be Mistral Representative at least for the USA.
Unfortunately the website is down now:
www.windpowerwindsurfing.com

Good Luck!

Still there as windpowerwindsurfing.com but looks like they are working on a new site.

Yep I took this advice about 12 months ago and had several replies within hours and a top bloke also in the UK insisted on posting me the part I wanted for free and wouldn't even take money for postage and he even put some gifts in the package a little souvenir pin thingy from his town and a nice post card. These people love their vintage mistrals and love to help keep others on the water

vintage mistrals are the best, I remember having arguments at school about Mistrals being better than F2's, still think the Mistrals are better.
