I have ended up with a Mistral One design built around 1996.
Haven,t had a decent board for the last 10 years so looking forward to getting out
I need to buy a new uni joint
Are these still available ?
If so can someone send me a link to a spares website
Many Thanks

Send a photo of what's broken. I'm in Townsville and may have spares or at least be able to point you to where you might get some!

Hi Snorkel
This is what I am chasing I could probably make something up if I had to but it would be good to grab the original item

Hi Snorkel. I need one too. Is the RS:X UJ/base the same size bottom pin?

If you cannot find the original one, you can screw any regular mast base just behind where you're plugging this joint.

the mast track looks like a shortened version of the Mistral Equipe II/2 track
and the 2nd photo is a photo from my blog showing how I adjusted / made it work with a Mistral Equipe I track

I had to do the same thing with the Mistral Competition SST as well i.e. with the metal plate
works well !!!

Looking at the piccie I don't think I have anything to fit amongst my gear- sorry. The subsequent suggestions look very sensible. I have a mate who uses a normal mast base as a fixed base in an equipe using the track, so that should work.

See you out on the water here. It will be good to see another windsurfer out!!

Please let me know if you have any questions re sailing here!
