Anyone know how to remove the centreboard cassette and gasket from an old equipe.

Yep. Working on two right now. Before you start with the gasket talk to me..they can be fragile. PM me for details if you wish

if its the equipe that is the same shape as the one-design, the gasket is hinged, it snaps open revealing a bunch of screws, like adam says, be gentle.
don't pull on the black rubber, maybe wedge a screwdriver under the white plastic at the ends to get it started.
if its one of the rare XR's; the gasket may simply be glued on like the later equipes.

Are replacement gaskets available for the old one design Equippe's?

hi Paul,
i recently spotted what i thought were boxes of those gaskets at windpower windsurfing while visiting wisconson.
turned out they were for a smaller mistral and a couple of inches shorter that the ones we need.
did however get some parts for the track.
my bunnings door seal gasket works ok but needs to be stiffer, i will try pattern-mylar next, works perfectly on my div2.
