I'm planning a trip to Maui (finally!) for June/July this year. I'm hoping to stay about 3 to 4 weeks.

Thing is, I'll be travelling alone, so I'm hoping to get some good tips about places to stay with that in mind. I'll be going "harness only" so I'll need gear and I guess a car/van.

If anyone has any good ideas about visiting the island as a solo windsurfer, I'd love to hear em!

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

I have been to Maui three time now... twice on my own, you will make lots of new friends on the beach in you 3-4 weeks!

most of you questions can be answered in these two links...

www.mauiwindsurfing.net/
(good to find rental gear, transport, info about where to sail etc...)

mauisurfreport.blogspot.com/
(good resource to find a place to stay)

you should get plenty of wind in June / July! Swell will only be wind swell

Cheers
Rick
