I've been using pack n send (think thats what it's called) for nsw to vic and qld.
No problems with them so far, sent masts and booms.

I used www.smartsend.com.au/index.cfm
couple of times no hassles and good price.

I got a quote from Pack and Send to get a board from Perth to Mackay.....$400 , I don't think so.
And bus freight wouldn't do over 2m for me either, what's the go?

Give packnsend a miss, they charge exorbitant amounts to put it in a box for you.
Auspost won't do over 1800 or 2000 long.

Just use Courier Aust or Toll Ipec you won't do better. 700km across WA was $20 from memory

Send an email to Bud at this address, they ship gear all the time, so he will have a good process in place that he uses.

Smartsend rates seem very reasonable, although I have not used them

I just used smartsend to send a mast and sail from QLD to TAS.
$65 door to door, all online booking and payment.
No complaints.

Don't you need a comany account to use TNT? I ship stuff internationally and domestically with them for work, but when I wanted to send some private stuff, they wouldn't do it. Ended up using the company account, and paying them back.

Hi Dralyagmas,

You can use Australian Air Express as long as it's under 3m long. They have a flat rate for windsurfing/surfing equipment including insurance for up to $1000.

It's from airport to airport, reliable and usually takes a couple of days. You don't need to have an account with them as opposed to all major freight companies. From memory SA to NSW is $64.

Cheers,
Remi
