Do you know if the Avanti wave sail Peter is using in the photos is a proto 2013 production sail?
Not sure if it is a proto but it is what the 2013 sails will look like, the race sails just arrived and they are the new 2013 ones.
I'll have a sail on Pete's gear next time and let you know, love to try out the race sails first though, cool looking sails.

Just as I dogged out at 6pm and said hello to you on the ski, you left
I slalom sailed the new 2013 6.9 machine m1x at Margaret river. I launched from the boat ramp with Patrik Diethelm and Gunnar (ger). I don't know the place, the currents and reefs. I gybed at south side or as the locals call it suicide!! I fell in mid gybe and then a big set smashed me onto some reef. I let go of the gear to protect myself. When I eventually swam up to it I was fully stoked to see the avanti mast all good and the sail as good as new!!!
Respect to the local crew who call this place home.
The sail cloth has Kevlar running all through it making it light and strong. Mast are precision Aussie made.
