Hey guys. Just picked up some old windsurfing kit to learn on in Adelaide. Im just missing a daggerboard for it. Just wondering if anyone would have an old one lying around in the shed, or is there anywhere online that I could find the dimensions of the daggerboard for the 330...might be able to make one on the cheap...

Cheers guys.

Forgive me for being that guy but if you don't find a freebie, seriously consider the possibility that you just acquired a passable paddle board. The issue with older boards like that (I think that one is going on 35 years old) is that spare parts, can be from hard to source to almost impossible.

The second part is that board design has changed in the last three decades especially to the benefit of someone starting out. That board is 64cm wide and about 170 l and is a bit challenging for those first rides. Modern boards that you might start out on will be from 80cm to as much as 100cm wide and the additional width means your first rides are actually rides not afternoons spent falling off and climbing on.

If you are highly motivated, you can make a go of it - obviously folks did. But, if you start to see money fly out the window or you find it frustrating please, please consider looking around for something a bit more current. The out of pocket expense may seem a bit more but your journey will be more pleasant and you'll advance much faster. That's got to be worth something, right?
